I am looking forward to getting together tonight, especially after last week’s powerful session. One thing I have been noticing about the sessions, and I hope you will agree, is that we always leave at the end feeling like better versions of the people we came to the group as. Last week we were sharing some of our coping and healing strategies, and although the subject was heavy at times, we found space for genuine fun, laughter, and hopefulness.

This week’s challenge was to try something we have never tried before. I cannot wait to hear about your adventures. Mine was epic! I can’t wait to tell you about it on tonight’s call!

I am excited to catch up with you tonight especially after such a great chat last week. I am thrilled that our group continues to grow and that we are now supporting each other outside of the call on Wednesday nights.

This is the group where we share our goals week after week so that we can feel a sense of satisfaction as we navigate our separations and divorces and find little wins every day to help lift us up and push us farther into recovery from separation and divorce.

This week, I have been hustling, let me tell you! I wrote a test and a paper toward my degree, and I spent time with clients. I had a special session this week with one of my clients, (she gave me permission to share), that through our work together, she has hit goals she wasn’t even
considering when we first met. I also met with a couple of partners to start planning out my very first retreat, stay tuned for an update on that!

Well damn. You know I look forward to the challenges because I love the growth, but I don't necessarily want to chase after them!
How do you handle the challenges of life? Embrace, engage or escape?
I was one who was always scared to be challenged, would run away from anything scary. Scary by the way was almost literally everything, from learning to drive a car to talking to a stranger to leaving the house by myself to handing household chores.
But one foot in front of the other in the smallest of steps makes my capacity for life a little bit bigger and my tolerance to challenge and change a little bit stronger. 😉
