Over the last 6 months I have learned about how to Over the last 6 months I have learned about how to eat intuitively and how different foods affect my mind, my body and my spirit. Steak and eggs in the morning energizes me, creates expansion and promotes access to my creative and cognitive abilities. It allows for presence, peace and calm and a lightness in my body that invites opportunities. Eating foods that help me operate at a different level and encourage me to let go of things that slow me down. Tell me more about how meat can heal you @brendancoatesdsc
We can help others reach their goals because we re We can help others reach their goals because we reach our own. We can care for others because we care for ourselves. We can hold healing space for others because we can hold our own. We can offer encouragement because we encourage ourselves.
When we show up for ourselves we can show up for others.
Who are you showing up for today?
How can I help you show up for yourself so you can provide better service, deliver a higher quality of care, and embody the love necessary to create a lasting impact?
Last week, I completed the final course of my 4-ye Last week, I completed the final course of my 4-year Bachelor's program. This week I am applying to graduate.
Reflecting on this has me wanting to celebrate the achievement, but also wanting to acknowledge the education I received that extended well beyond the scholarly texts.
It was hard. There were times I told myself that I was not smart enough to handle the assignments, not organized enough to create research papers, and not free enough to extend the time it took to do all the reading and all the writing. There were times I wondered what the heck I was doing; times when I wondered if it was really what I wanted, and times when I begged myself for the permission to quit.
I kept visualizing myself in the cap and gown, degree in hand, ready to take myself to the next level. This is all becoming a reality for me now.
Here's the thing: I have big goals.
What seems to create the most frustration for me is that the goals I set for myself aren't here yet. It's hard to imagine when these dreams will come to life. I want them now, and I want the work I'm doing right now to manifest into the dream I want right now.
The biggest thing I am learning is that dreams aren't one and done, they are there to remind you what is possible. But they only arrive in the three-dimensional if you apply steady action toward them. Who knows when they will come, but they will come when you spend your time, space, and energy looking at them, taking little tiny steps towards them, and cutting out the voices that throw you off course.

Not only do I get to spend my days working toward my dreams, I also get the honour and the privilege of encouraging and supporting others towards theirs. If you have a big dream and need support. I can put you on a waitlist for coaching. My roster is currently full (another dream come true). But I will be able to open up another spot or two in January. DM me for details and pricing.
As I sit and write my last paper to complete my Ba As I sit and write my last paper to complete my Bachelors degree, I feel the world opening, the stars aligning and channels opening. I have the highest roster of clients I have ever had and the successes keep coming. There is reminder that slow progress earns huge results and there is a new timeline awakening. The time is now.
One of my favorite things to do at the gym is spen One of my favorite things to do at the gym is spend some time in recovery. It's so important for all us to take a moment to shut it down. In every area of our lives. When we get hyperfocused on schedules, work or whatever outcome we are desiring in the moment, it's important to take a step back to see the bigger picture. Taking a break and allowing our bodies and minds to slow down actually can make us more creative, more efficient and more productive. You have to slow down to speed up!! Enjoy your break today!
My son came home from vacation last night. He was My son came home from vacation last night. He was gone for the week. One of the first questions my son asked me was, "Momma, were you lonely?" "Maybe a little."
AND
"I have been in solitude. I have filled my time with the things I love to do and surrounded myself with people I enjoy."
I love to socialize, but I also love silence that allows for self-care, rejuvenation, and reflection. For me, time and space in solitude allow for expansion; the clearing of my mind, and the welcoming of ideas and goals to emerge.
Loneliness feels draining, like you are missing something. Solitude feels like abundance, where time and space do not exist, and where we can recognise our gifts and feel gratitude.
Loneliness fuels feelings of unworthiness that stimulate actions and relationships not aligned with our goals, just to avoid feeling. Solitude respects social boundaries and preserves energy best used for individual greatness.
Loneliness feeds people-pleasing and an effort to impress others for attention or admiration. Solitude feels like the safety we learn from developing trust in ourselves and what we are capable of.
The voice that encourages a narrative that we must be partnered to feel valued, to feel safe, to feel supported gets amplified when we are not feeling these things in ourselves.
And then magically, when you yourself feel valued, safe, and supported, you naturally give that safety, value, and support to others, and loneliness exits your experience.
Comment below times when you have felt loneliness and how you overcame that feeling (the good, the bad, and the ugly). Comment when you have welcomed solitude and what safety you found in that space.

The most powerful position is being the boss of yourself.

Let's start there. Be a boss of your own life.
Then you can be the World's Best Anything!!

Today I encourage you to write a list of the people who truly have your back, lift you up, speak about you in rooms you're not in, and help you feel closer to your dreams.
Then make a list of people who seek your energy but really aren't encouraging you to succeed and who aren't appreciative of the time and space you give, who truly do not see the value you bring.
Make an effort this week to spend time with those people who lift you up and give back to them. Show them appreciation and love. Nurture those relationships.
All the rest....goodbye (with love).
Confidence doesn't come from trying harder. It com Confidence doesn't come from trying harder. It comes from being aligned with your true self. This has never felt truer for me as I wrap up four years of university study. It wasn't a breeze, but it was much easier knowing it was meant for me. This goal was one I was excited to reach, not pushing towards, not pretending to enjoy or trying to avoid. It's part of who I am, who I have always wanted to be. I just had to remember.
There might be a version of you who hasn't shown up yet. If there is...let me help you find her. She is incredible!
A perfect Sunday. Writing and wrapping up a five A perfect Sunday. Writing and wrapping up a five week project and looking forward to what's next. In a world of big plans, huge dreams and the work it takes to get where you want to go, there is always a place and space for calm and peace. It took years to learn that grinding and hustling doesn't have to be the default. Great things can be created with ease. Things are clearer outside of chaos.
Does a river pretend to flow? Does a sun pretend t Does a river pretend to flow? Does a sun pretend to rise?
I used to feel like I had to turn something on. I had to step into a different energy as I showed up for work, went out to network, hung out with friends and even when I was putting on hats labeled mom and partner.
Learning how to be me took some work, took some patience, and took some forgiveness. It still takes courage and the release of the projections of expectations that don't even belong to me.
The beauty of it though, wowwww...and when my clients and friends say "I feel like I can be myself around you, in my true forms and feel safe".
This is who I get to not pretend to be.
I planted this beauty in May. I actually didn't ev I planted this beauty in May. I actually didn't even know it was a flower. When I found out it was a flower, I waited for it to bloom wondering when it would happen. Then all of the sudden when the season started to shift there she was. In her full glory and vibrancy. Attracting the sunlight and everything else she needs to thrive. All in God's perfect timing. Where is your flower? What is waiting to bloom for you? Sometimes you wait for it to happen, but then you realize....all you have to do is know it's all already there. And I realize, as a coach, these flowers are blooming everyday and that makes me so happy.

One of the most gratifying moments as a coach is t One of the most gratifying moments as a coach is to experience the client shift. Massive life-changing shifts where we move our fear into possibility and our self-doubt into comfort and confidence.
My client last night reported their goals as too hard, the road to get there too boring, the goal too far away. Their cure for this (in an effort to still feel productive) was to busy themselves doing all the things that were easy, and fast. Things they were already practiced at doing. We call these distractors.
My client said at the beginning of the call, they never follow through, they avoid all things difficult and procrastinate all the things they dislike. (Wait for it.....)
The shift came when they recognized some hard things they had recently accomplished without realizing they were hard.
What was the difference between those times when tasks are labeled as hard vs tasks that are hard but not labeled as such??
The answer is in the goal, the why and the desired end result.
I quote their discovery: "my desire for the end result must be greater than the challenges to get there!"
Then we linked all these "hard and procrastinated" goals to their end goal and magic happened!!
They ended the call by reframing all the tasks ahead as easy, fun and non-negotiable.
And I know they are going to slayyyyy their week!!!
Im so excited to know that I get to decide. How a Im so excited to know that I get to decide.
